I was once told by an older pastor that wherever the gospel was most clearly seen was an area to expect an attack from the enemy of the gospel. I’ve not found any exceptions to his rule, and this one is further evidence in support.

How else can we explain the emotional fervor of the attacks on biblical manhood and womanhood, and biblical marriage? If it were a matter of simple preference, one might expect strong commitment, but not the radical attack that we currently see.
